The desktop enclosure supports placement near wired equipment rather than requiring a full-width rack installation. SF110D-08-NA operates without configuration because the switch is unmanaged. Connect the power adapter and Ethernet cables to begin operation. Automatic speed and duplex negotiation, traffic prioritization, loop detection and cable diagnostics operate without an administrator configuring those functions before the switch carries traffic.
