The base package provides Layer 2/Layer 3 routing, firewall policies, Network Address Translation (NAT), basic VPN, and security zone enforcement capabilities.
No additional license is required; SRX300-JSB is the single license component that activates all base feature sets on the SRX300 device.
Upload the SRX300-JSB package to the device via CLI or J-Web, then commit the software by issuing ‘request system software add <package-file> reboot’ in operational mode.
