The SRX5K-SCB3-BB is a Switch Control Board (SCB3) designed for the Juniper SRX5000 line, providing integrated control-plane functions and base chassis management.
The SCB3 control board is compatible with SRX5400, SRX5600, and SRX5800 service gateway chassis when installed in the base slot.
Key features include dual control-plane CPUs, redundant management ports, in-band and out-of-band management, and support for Junos OS high availability.
Power down the SRX5000 chassis, slide the SCB3 into the base slot until it clicks, secure the retaining screws, then power up the chassis to auto-detect the board.
