The SRX5K-SCB3 is the third-generation control board for Juniper SRX5000 Series gateways, managing system control plane, routing protocols, and high-availability fail-over.
High-performance multi-core CPU, N+1 control-plane redundancy, hot-swap capability, secure boot, and real-time system monitoring via integrated LEDs.
Compatible with all Juniper SRX5000 Series chassis (SRX5100, SRX5500, SRX5800) that accept SCB3 modules; not supported on legacy SCB1/SCB2 slots.
Power down the chassis, slide the SRX5K-SCB3 into an empty SCB slot until it clicks, secure the captive screws, then power on and verify boot via CLI or front-panel LEDs.
