1.6 Tbps of stack bandwidth applies to the C9350 StackWise-1.6T stack, not to an individual cable direction. 3 m cable length serves side-by-side mounting, while the supplied 0.5 m StackWise cable serves vertical rack examples. An 8-member full ring needs 8 data stack cables, and a chain needs 7. STACK-T1A-3M seats in the rear StackWise port and locks with an audible click. The connector has a 200 install-and-remove cycle limit. Incomplete StackWise cabling gives half bandwidth and no redundant connections. A new member must be powered down before physical stack insertion and powered on after all StackWise cabling is complete.
STACK-T1A-3M is offered new sealed and certified refurbished. Certified refurbished units have connectors, pins, latches and housing inspected, connected between two compatible switches, and stack link up at the rated bandwidth. A full ring needs one STACK-T1A-3M per C9350 stack member, so an 8-switch full ring uses 8 data stack cables. A chain uses one fewer cable than the member count and has no redundant cable path. Use the 3 m length for side-by-side routing.
STACK-T1A-3M serves C9350 StackWise-1.6T stacks with a maximum of 8 members. A full ring gives full bandwidth and redundant StackWise cable connections. Incomplete StackWise cabling creates a half-bandwidth stack without redundant connections, and a failed link can partition a stack.
STACK-T1A-3M plugs into the rear StackWise port connectors on C9350 switches. Align each connector, push until the latch clicks, connect the other end to the peer switch, and gently pull to verify the lock. A new switch must stay powered down until all cabling is complete.
STACK-T1A-3M serves mixed C9350 Smart Switch models when the stack stays within C9350 models at StackWise-1.6T speed and the same license level. It does not create a mixed stack with Catalyst 9300 or Catalyst 3850 switches. A C9350 stack remains capped at 8 members.
STACK-T1A-3M= is the spare-ordering form of the 3 m Type 1A stacking cable. STACK-T1A-3M is the base product ID used for the same cable in the accessory set. The equals form is not the same thing as ORM certified refurbished condition.
STACK-T1A-3M is the longer 3 m Type 1A StackWise cable, while STACK-T1A-1M is the 1 m Type 1A StackWise cable. Both serve C9350 StackWise-1.6T at 1.6 Tbps. Choose 3 m for side-by-side or wider rear cable paths and 1 m for closer runs.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for STACK-T1A-3M. The C9350 Smart Switches family still uses Type 1A StackWise-1.6T data stack cables in 0.5 m, 1 m, and 3 m lengths, and the 3 m length remains part of the C9350 stack cable set.
