WS-C3850-24T-E identifies a Catalyst 3850 with 24 data-only 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports and IP Services. WS-C3850 names the switch family, 24 gives the port count, T denotes data ports, and E selects IP Services. The identifier does not encode fixed uplinks; uplinks depend on the separately selected network module.
WS-C3850-24T-E is managed through the Cisco IOS XE CLI using console access, SSH or Telnet, with Cisco Prime infrastructure and Cisco DNA Center providing centralized management paths.
