The XFP-10GER-OC192IR-C is a Cisco®-compatible multirate XFP module supporting 10GBASE-ER and OC-192/STM-64 IR for long-reach optical links up to 40 km over single-mode fiber.
It supports 10.3125 Gbps for 10GBASE-ER and 10.709 Gbps for OC-192/STM-64 IR-2, auto-negotiating between both modes.
Under standard conditions, it transmits up to 40 km over single-mode fiber (9 µm core) at 1550 nm.
The module employs a 1550 nm DFB laser optimized for extended-reach applications with low dispersion over SMF.
