Cisco 12000 6-slot Enhanced DC Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is a field-replaceable, high-density DC power module designed to deliver reliable −48 VDC power to Cisco 12000 series router chassis.
The PDU features six hot-swappable slots, supports −40 to −72 VDC input (nominal −48 VDC), delivers up to 300 A per slot (1 800 A total) and includes integrated load sharing and current monitoring.
The 6-slot Enhanced DC PDU is fully compatible with Cisco 12000 series router chassis, including models CRS-1, 12416, and 12008, when equipped with the appropriate DC power shelf bay.
Slide the PDU into the designated DC power shelf bay of the Cisco 12000 chassis until the ejector handles engage, then torque the power-feed cables per Cisco installation guidelines.
