The Cisco 12000 10-slot Enhanced AC PEM is a hot-swappable power entry module designed to deliver up to 3600 W of AC power to a Cisco 12000 series chassis, ensuring high availability and simplified power management.
The module accepts 100–240 VAC at 50/60 Hz, draws a maximum of 20 A, and provides up to 3600 W of total output power with N+1 redundancy support.
The Enhanced AC PEM is fully compatible with all Cisco 12000 series routing chassis equipped with a 10-slot power shelf bay, including the 12404, 12416, and 12008 platforms.
Power down the chassis, slide the PEM into the designated power-shelf bay until it clicks, secure the captive screws, then reconnect AC power and power up the chassis.
