The Cisco 12016E/80 is a high-performance backplane fabric card for the Cisco 12000 series routers, delivering 80 Gbps per Switch Fabric Card (SFC) and optimized for large-scale IP/MPLS deployments.
It provides non-blocking 80 Gbps per SFC, low-latency packet forwarding (<1 µs), three SFC slots and two Connectivity Service Card (CSC) slots, hot-swap support, and in-service software upgrade capability under Cisco IOS XR.
With three 80 Gbps SFCs installed, the module scales to 240 Gbps of full-duplex switching capacity, supporting hundreds of millions of packets per second.
