This transceiver is guaranteed compatible with Dell PowerConnect series (e.g., 8024, 8132), S-Series (e.g., S5248, S6100), M-Series core switches, and Dell Force10 Z-Series devices.
It requires single-mode fiber (SMF) terminated with an LC duplex connector to achieve the full 40 km reach.
The module supports a maximum link length of 40 km when used with single-mode fiber.
