C1000-24PP-4G-L provides Static routing for inter-VLAN communication, placing it in the Layer 2+ category. Cisco IOS supplies configurable access policies; LACP supports aggregated connections, while RSTP and MSTP control Layer 2 paths. The fixed power supply does not provide internal power redundancy.

When several access switches need a shared administration address, Single IP Management groups eight Gigabit Ethernet switches through their uplink connections. This is management grouping rather than a dedicated hardware stack. Check group membership and the uplink connections consumed before specifying the installation.
When a branch rollout carries an existing segmentation configuration, validate the configuration before shipping equipment to the site. The series supports 256 active VLANs and 64 spanning-tree instances. Check both limits against the intended configuration before placing a volume purchase order.
