C1000-48P-4G-L is Layer 2; routing protocols are not part of this model's role. The Cisco Catalyst 1000 Series provides 512 MB DRAM, 256 MB flash, 16000 MAC addresses, 256 active VLANs, STP, RSTP, MSTP, LACP, PAgP, IGMP snooping, MLD snooping, sFlow, SNMP v3, SSH v2 and a web UI through Cisco Configuration Professional. Single IP Management can administer up to eight Gigabit Ethernet models through uplink ports, but the platform does not add hardware stack ports or stacked switching capacity.
