40 Gbps of stack bandwidth and 8 members apply to FlexStack-Extended stacks that use hybrid modules, fiber modules, or a blend of FlexStack-Plus, hybrid and fiber modules. Full-bandwidth stack connections provide redundant links; incomplete stack cabling gives half bandwidth and no redundant connection. C2960X-HYBRID-STK has 2 stack ports, and hybrid-stack module ports only operate as stack ports. Cisco IOS 15.2(6)E or later is the minimum release for FlexStack-Extended. Online insertion and removal is allowed with the same module type; a different module type needs a reload. The SFP+ side uses optics selected for the distance, with 300 m LR and 7 km EX reach.
C2960X-HYBRID-STK is offered new sealed and certified refurbished. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested between two compatible switches; the module seats and locks in the rear slot, and switch recognition is verified.
