160 Gbps of stack bandwidth runs over StackWise-160 for Catalyst 3650 data stacks. 9 switches can share one stack, and each switch uses rear StackWise ports with adapters before the StackWise cable connects. Full-ring cabling gives redundant connections, while incomplete cabling gives half bandwidth and no redundant connection. C3650-STACK installs with the system powered on when the fan modules remain installed. The stack elects an active switch and a standby switch, keeps one management IP address, and accepts added or removed members without service interruption. The same feature set must be matched inside the stack; LAN Base stacks with LAN Base, IP Base with IP Base, and IP Services with IP Services.
C3650-STACK is offered new sealed and certified refurbished. Certified refurbished testing verifies module seats and locks in the rear slot and is recognized by the switch.
