160 Gbps of stack bandwidth belongs to StackWise-160, and the stack uses copper-based Cisco StackWise cabling. 3 m length has a 91 mm minimum bend radius and a 182 mm minimum coiled diameter. Nine Catalyst 3650 switches form the maximum data stack. Full-ring cabling gives full bandwidth and redundant StackWise cable connections; incomplete cabling gives half bandwidth and no redundant connections. STACK-T2-3M attaches to StackWise adapters in rear StackWise ports, and the screws are finger-tightened. Adapters are preinstalled when stacking is ordered; otherwise C3650-STACK-KIT= supplies two adapters and a 0.5 m cable. LAN Base stacks with LAN Base only, and IP Base and IP Services follow the same rule.

STACK-T2-3M is the Cisco 3M Type 2 Stacking Cable for Catalyst 3650 StackWise-160 stacks. The PID identifies a Type 2 data stack cable with 3 m reach. It links rear StackWise adapters and belongs with Catalyst 3650 switches, not power stacking or uplink ports.
STACK-T2-3M fits Catalyst 3650 switches with StackWise adapters in the rear StackWise ports. A Catalyst 3650 and Catalyst 3850 mixed stack is not supported. Catalyst 3850 uses STACK-T1-3M for the 3 m StackWise cable, so equal 3 m length does not mean a shared cable.
A Catalyst 3650 uses Type 2 StackWise-160 stack cables: STACK-T2-50CM, STACK-T2-1M and STACK-T2-3M. STACK-T2-3M is the 3 m option for longer rear-port paths. Switches without StackWise adapters need the Catalyst 3650 stack kit before a cable can make the data stack link.
