The NetEngine5000E-X16A 400G Basic Configuration DC (SKU: CR5P5KBASD6A) is a multi-chassis data-center switch platform featuring 16 fixed 400G ports and support for up to 12 port modules (PMs) for high-density 400G networking.
This 400G multi-chassis chassis is ideal for spine-leaf data-center fabrics, high-performance computing clusters, and cloud service aggregation with low latency and high throughput requirements.
The SKU CR5P5KBASD6A basic configuration includes support for up to 12 PM slots, each accommodating a mix of 400G, 100G, or 40G optical or DAC modules.
The chassis delivers up to 6.4 Tbps of switching capacity and line-rate forwarding on all 16 fixed 400G ports plus additional module ports.
The platform supports Huawei QSFP-DD and OSFP 400G transceivers, 100G QSFP28, and 40G QSFP+ optical modules, as well as DAC copper cables for short-reach links.
