The DES-85-MSU-VI is compatible with all D-Link DES-8500 chassis, including DES-8510, DES-8526, and DES-8548 switches that support modular main boards.
Power down the DES-8500 chassis, remove the existing control board, align the DES-85-MSU-VI module with the slot guides, and secure it with the locking screws before restarting.
