It supports rates from 9.95 Gbps to 11.3 Gbps for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3ae), SONET OC-192/SDH STM-64 and Fiber Channel environments.
Over standard single-mode fiber, it reaches up to 80 km with appropriate dispersion compensation modules (DCMs).
It employs duplex LC connectors for single-mode fiber links, ensuring reliable low-loss connections.
