The HPE N7P36A Upgrade Kit (MSL LTO-7 FC Drive) integrates an 8 Gb Fibre Channel LTO-7 tape drive into compatible HPE MSL libraries, delivering 6 TB native (15 TB compressed) capacity and up to 300 MB/s native (750 MB/s compressed) throughput.
The N7P36A kit is compatible with HPE MSL2024, MSL4048, MSL3040, MSL6480 and future MSL-generation libraries that support LTO drive upgrades.
LTO-7 tape cartridges store 6 TB of native data and up to 15 TB compressed data (2.5:1 compression ratio).
The LTO-7 FC drive supports up to 300 MB/s native and 750 MB/s compressed throughput over an 8 Gb/s Fibre Channel interface.
