N9K-C9364C-H1 is a managed, fixed-port switch for high-density 100G leaf-spine fabrics. Its default NX-OS configuration supports Layer 2 switching and static routing, rather than automatically including licensed dynamic-routing functions. The 2U chassis provides 64 QSFP28 interfaces for fabric connections and two additional fixed 10G SFP+ interfaces; no removable uplink card is required. Cisco Nexus 9364C-H1 uses Cisco Cloud Scale technology and connects network infrastructure without supplying PoE to endpoints. Unlike N9K-C9364C-H1=, which excludes power supplies and fans, the regular hardware variant is intended for a configured switch order rather than a stripped replacement chassis. The fixed interface architecture makes port speed, optics selection and software entitlement separate purchasing decisions.

12800 Gbps switching capacity defines the aggregate bandwidth available for fabric traffic. 2500 Mpps forwarding capacity provides the corresponding packet-processing ceiling. 1100W maximum consumption is the figure to reserve for peak electrical provisioning, rather than the 605W typical operating figure. N9K-C9364C-H1 carries 32 GB of system memory, expandable to 64 GB, alongside a 128 GB SSD for local storage. A 40 MB on-die packet buffer provides packet storage during congestion. Static routes, SVIs and HSRP are available without an additional feature license; BGP, OSPF, IS-IS and EIGRP require the appropriate routing entitlement. Hardware capacity reaches approximately 2000000 IPv4 LPM routes and approximately 1000000 MAC entries, while supported deployment scale depends on the selected software release. RESTCONF, NETCONF, gNMI and REST API interfaces provide automation paths beyond interactive management.
ORM Systems supplies N9K-C9364C-H1 new sealed or certified refurbished; refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, rated-speed links on every port, optics bay recognition, PSU status, fan status and a clean boot, with firmware verified and configuration wiped to factory default. Specify the condition, complete power configuration and required accessories on your purchase order. New units carry up to a 3-year extended warranty, certified refurbished units up to 1 year, and every condition includes 30-day returns; terms apply. For enterprise and volume orders, PO is accepted, government buyers receive Net-30, and RMA with advance replacement is available through UK, EU, US and MEA regional operations.

An expansion of an existing routed fabric calls for checking path width, not just interface speed. Hardware support for 128 ECMP paths makes the intended topology a specific acceptance item. Specify the required routing entitlement and validate the selected software release against the fabric design before issuing the PO.
A multi-rack rollout needs a repeatable mechanical configuration before switches are allocated to installation locations. NXK-ACC-RMK2-2RU supports front and rear removal mounting for this chassis. Identify the required mounting hardware and management cabling for each rack, then include the exact kit PID in the rollout bill of materials.
A staging order needs console access before network management is configured. Initial terminal settings are 9600 baud, eight data bits, one stop bit and no parity. Reserve the serial-console connection in the staging plan and specify the management addressing information before the hardware PO is released.
MACsec encryption on every interface
MACsec hardware support is limited to ports 49–64, rather than all 64 high-speed interfaces. An all-port encryption requirement needs different hardware.
Native 400G fabric connections
The fixed QSFP28 interfaces support 100G, not 400G. A fabric requiring native 400G connections needs different hardware rather than an uplink module.

N9K-C9364C-H1 identifies the Cisco Nexus 9300 64-port 100G switch, with H1 retained as part of the complete model identifier. The hardware provides QSFP28 network interfaces rather than copper access ports. Specify the complete H1-suffixed part number when matching a quotation to the required configuration.
N9K-C9364C-H1 supports CLI configuration through its console and management connection, SNMP, RESTCONF, NETCONF, gNMI and REST API access. Cisco Nexus Dashboard services provide additional centralized operations with the appropriate licenses. Initial commissioning starts through the serial console before the management interface receives its network configuration.
N9K-C9364C-H1 uses XF2 DCN Essentials, Advantage or Premier subscription licensing, with three-year, five-year or seven-year terms. Hardware and feature entitlements are separate purchasing decisions. Provide the destination Smart Account and Virtual Account with the order, and specify the required functions before selecting the subscription tier.
No, N9K-C9364C-H1 does not include unrestricted dynamic routing with the bare hardware order. Static routes, SVIs and HSRP are available without an additional feature license. BGP, OSPF, IS-IS and EIGRP require the appropriate entitlement, so a routed-fabric purchase must identify its software requirements separately.
No, Nexus 9364C-H1 breakout is restricted to the first interface in each four-port quad, and activating breakout disables the remaining three interfaces in that quad. Supported breakout arrangements include 4x10G and 4x25G. The resulting interface allocation must be included in the cabling and port-assignment plan.
N9K-C9364C-H1 ports 49–64 provide MACsec hardware support; the remaining high-speed interfaces do not provide that capability. Connections requiring link encryption must therefore be assigned to those interfaces. Hardware capability does not replace the need to select software and licensing appropriate to the intended encrypted deployment.
Nexus 9364C-H1 supports NXA-PAC-1400W-PI, NXA-PAC-1400W-PE, NXA-PDC-2KW-PI, NXA-PDC-2KW-PE and NXA-PHV-2KW-PI power supplies. The chassis uses two supplies for 1+1 redundancy, and all installed cooling and power components must share the same airflow direction. Specify the electrical input and airflow configuration together rather than selecting either independently.
N9K-C9364C-H1= excludes power supplies and fans, whereas N9K-C9364C-H1 is the regular hardware ordering variant. Both identify the same 64-port 100G switch design. The regular variant suits a configured switch purchase; the equals-sign spare suits a replacement order with separately specified compatible power and cooling components.
Nexus 9364C-H1 requires 2U of rack space and measures 86 mm high, 442 mm wide and 566 mm deep. NXK-ACC-RMK2-2RU is the mounting kit for front and rear removal. Verify rack compatibility, cable clearance and service access before including the mounting configuration on the purchase order.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for Nexus 9364C-H1. The H1 model is distinct from the older, unsuffixed 9364C hardware; retirement milestones for that older switch do not establish an end-of-sale or last-support date for the H1 configuration. Match lifecycle requirements to the complete part number.
ORM Systems offers N9K-C9364C-H1 new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to a 3-year extended warranty for new units and up to 1 year for certified refurbished units. Cisco's separate hardware warranty is a 1-year limited warranty. Every condition has 30-day returns; terms apply. Refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested.
