The external connection uses a C5 power connector and a proprietary 6-pin chassis connector on Cisco 1100 Terminal Services Gateway systems. 0°C to 40°C operating temperature sets the rack room limit for the router and the external power path. A failed ISR 4321 external power supply with PWR-4320-AC on the label needs the same AC unit for a like-for-like replacement. Match the ISR 4321 chassis and Non-PoE requirement before the PO, then order new sealed or certified refurbished condition.
A C1100TG-1N32A, C1100TG-1N24P32A or C1100TGX-1N24P32A build can use this external AC supply as the second power source. The internal supply remains primary, and the external unit takes over after primary power loss. Confirm the 6-pin connector before the PO.
