The HPE NS AF5/7/9000 92TB Flash Field Upgrade is a factory-qualified enhancement that adds 92 TB of all-flash capacity to eligible HPE Nimble Storage arrays for increased performance and storage density.
This field upgrade is compatible with HPE Nimble Storage AF5, AF7, and AF9000 series arrays that have available flash module bays and meet the minimum firmware requirements.
By adding 92 TB of NAND flash, the upgrade delivers sub-millisecond latency, higher IOPS, and improved data throughput for demanding workloads and mixed application environments.
Installation involves powering down the array, inserting the pre-configured flash modules into designated bays, powering up, and validating the upgrade through the HPE Nimble Storage OS management interface.
