The Q8D45A kit includes an HPE NS CS260G-X2 RAID controller, dual hot-swap power supplies, a backplane cable assembly, mounting brackets, and support for up to eight 2.5" HDDs or SSDs.
The kit is compatible with HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10, DL380 Gen10, ML350 Gen10 servers and all enclosures that support the HPE Smart Array CS260G-X2 controller.
Power down the server, mount the controller into the PCIe slot, connect the backplane cables, secure the power supplies, install drives into the sleds, then power on and configure the controller in the system BIOS.
The HPE NS CS260G-X2 kit supports up to eight 2.5" drives, allowing a maximum raw capacity of 192 TB when populated with 24 TB SSDs.
