The HP D2200sb G2 Storage Blade CTO (QW918A) is a factory-configured blade enclosure that adds up to 12 LFF hot-plug SAS/SATA drives to HP BladeSystem c-Class servers via dual 6Gb/s SAS I/O modules.
The D2200sb G2 installs into HP BladeSystem c7000 and c3000 enclosures, occupying two full-height blade bays and connecting via onboard mezzanine I/O slots.
It supports 12 LFF 3.5" SAS, Nearline SAS, SATA or SSD drives—up to 10TB per drive for a maximum raw capacity of 120TB.
RAID is provided by the host server’s Smart Array controller and can be configured for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 or 60 according to performance and redundancy requirements.
