SF112-24-EU combines fanless operation with 24 dedicated 10/100 RJ-45 access ports and two fixed Gigabit combo uplinks. Each uplink offers a copper connection or an SFP connection, with the two interfaces sharing one link. This unmanaged Layer 2 switch uses a full-width 1U rack-mount chassis and supplies no PoE power to connected endpoints. The Cisco 110 Series Unmanaged Switches provide basic connectivity for computers, printers and other separately powered office equipment. The discontinued SG110-24HP-EU differs by supplying PoE on selected ports. For an existing Fast Ethernet installation, the access speed and shared uplink arrangement are the principal configuration checks before ordering.

SF112-24-EU holds 512 MAC address entries for local forwarding decisions. Four hardware queues provide priority queuing and Weighted Round-Robin scheduling, while automatic speed and duplex negotiation establish compatible Ethernet connections. Automatic MDI/MDI-X detection accommodates straight-through and crossover cabling. Cable diagnostics identify cabling faults, and store-and-forward switching prevents damaged packets from being passed onward. These traffic-handling functions operate automatically; configurable routing is not part of this unmanaged design.
SF112-24-EU is available new sealed or certified refurbished: new units carry up to a 3-year extended warranty, certified refurbished units carry up to a 1-year warranty, and every condition has 30-day returns; terms apply. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, every port linking at its rated speed, clean boot, optics bay recognition and PSU status. The EU suffix covers the European Economic Area, Switzerland, Turkey and additional specified markets, rather than only European Union countries.
