The SFP-GE-L-C is a Cisco-compatible 1000Base-LX/LH small form-factor pluggable transceiver designed for single-mode and multi-mode fiber at 1310 nm with digital optical monitoring (DOM).
This SFP module supports single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 10 km and multi-mode fiber (MMF) with appropriate mode conditioning patch cables.
On SMF, the SFP-GE-L-C supports up to 10 km reach. On MMF with a mode conditioning cable, distance depends on the fiber category (typically 300–550 m).
