WS-C3750G-24T-S is a managed Layer 3, non-PoE access switch with 24 fixed 10/100/1000 RJ-45 ports, no dedicated uplinks, and the IP Base image. The full-width 1U chassis belongs to the Cisco Catalyst 3750 Series and serves enterprise wiring closets and branch offices with copper-connected endpoints. Network connections use the built-in Ethernet interfaces; the chassis has neither optical cages nor an uplink expansion bay. The discontinued WS-C3750G-24PS-S adds PoE for endpoints requiring power over their network connection. On the Cisco Catalyst 3750G-24T, administrators can assign Ethernet interfaces to access, trunk, or routed connections according to the network design.
WS-C3750G-24T-S price for new stock is $104.82. WS-C3750G-24T-S refurb price is $73.48. WS-C3750G-24T-S is in stock and available for next-day dispatch. (terms applied)

32 Gbps switching capacity provides the fabric reference for traffic planning. 35.7 Mpps forwarding establishes the packet-processing reference for this hardware configuration. Static routing, RIPv1/RIPv2, EIGRP Stub, PIM Stub, and HSRP support IP Base access routing; full EIGRP and BGPv4 require IP Services. WS-C3750G-24T-S carries 128 MB DRAM and 16 MB flash, so firmware staging must fit this model's storage rather than a sibling's larger flash allocation. Configurable totals of 12000 MAC entries and 11000 unicast routes remain separate from software-image restrictions. SNMPv1/v2c/v3 provide monitoring paths, while the rear RJ-45 console supports initial configuration without occupying a front-panel interface. 98W measured consumption at 100% throughput provides a facility-load reference distinct from the 165W supply rating. Fan cooling and operation from 0°C to 45°C call for ambient-temperature and airflow checks at the installation location.
Order WS-C3750G-24T-S in new sealed or certified refurbished condition, specifying quantity, condition, and included accessories on the purchase order. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, every port linking at rated speed, clean boot, and stack adapter negotiation; firmware is verified and configurations are wiped to factory default. ORM provides up to a 3-year extended warranty on new units and up to 1 year on certified refurbished units, with 30-day returns on every condition, terms apply; Cisco's original limited lifetime coverage ended January 31, 2018. Enterprise and volume orders can use PO acceptance, Net-30 for government, RMA with advance replacement, and regional stock/RMA coverage across the UK, EU, US, and MEA.

When an existing stack needs another member, front-panel LEDs provide a way to verify the rear stack connections. In Stack mode, Ethernet port LEDs 23 and 24 represent StackWise ports 1 and 2. Specify the correct LED mode and a post-installation stack-link check as acceptance criteria before issuing the PO.
When a routed-access design depends on OSPF, Cisco IOS 12.2(55)SE or later is required for that capability under IP Base. The combined limit is 200 dynamically learned routes across one OSPFv2 and one OSPFv3 instance. Specify the required software release, instance count, and learned-route requirement before the PO.
When a branch rollout retains copper cabling, each attached device must remain within 100 meters of the switch. Link distance is a cabling constraint, not a software setting. Review patching and endpoint runs during staging, then specify the installation's copper cable lengths before issuing the purchase order.
Direct fiber connections
WS-C3750G-24T-S has no SFP cages or uplink module bay, so fiber transceivers cannot be installed. C9300-24T-A provides modular uplinks for purchases requiring a separate uplink architecture.
Switch-powered phones or access points
WS-C3750G-24T-S provides data connectivity without PoE output. Connected phones or access points require separate power; powered endpoints cannot draw operating power from this switch.
Active Cisco hardware service
Cisco hardware support for WS-C3750G-24T-S ended January 31, 2018. C9300-24T-A is the current endpoint of its replacement chain for purchases requiring a supported generation.

WS-C3750G-24T-S identifies a Catalyst 3750 Gigabit Ethernet switch: WS-C3750G is the switch-family prefix, 24 is the Ethernet port count, T identifies copper 10/100/1000 connectivity, and S selects IP Base. This configuration has no dedicated SFP uplinks and occupies one rack unit.
WS-C3750G-24T-S supports the browser-based device manager, Cisco IOS CLI through console, SSH or Telnet, Cisco Network Assistant, CiscoView, CiscoWorks, and SNMP management. The device manager handles individual switches; Network Assistant manages standalone units or clusters. Select a management path compatible with the installed software image.
WS-C3750G-24T-S reached end of sale on January 30, 2013, and Cisco hardware support ended January 31, 2018. Its original replacement, WS-C3750X-24T-S, is also discontinued. The later migration chain passes through discontinued WS-C3850-24T-S and ends at C9300-24T-A.
ORM Systems offers WS-C3750G-24T-S new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to a 3-year extended warranty on new units or up to 1 year on refurbished units. Returns cover 30 days for every condition; terms apply. Cisco's original limited lifetime hardware warranty and hardware service ended January 31, 2018.
WS-C3750G-24T-S includes IP Base; IP Services is the higher-feature image, available through CD-3750G-EMI=. The upgrade adds advanced routing rather than changing the chassis. Specify the required image and entitlement before ordering, because the purchase condition and the software feature set are separate requirements.
Cisco StackWise stacks nine Catalyst 3750 members over a 32 Gbps interconnect, and WS-C3750G-24T-S has two rear StackWise ports. Supported cables are CAB-STACK-50CM=, CAB-STACK-1M=, and CAB-STACK-3M=. Cable length must match rack placement; stack interconnection uses dedicated connectors rather than consuming Ethernet interfaces.
WS-C3750G-24T-S has no dedicated uplink ports, SFP cages, or uplink module bay; upstream traffic uses its built-in copper Ethernet interfaces. Installing an SFP cannot add fiber connectivity to this chassis. Reserve the required Ethernet interface for the upstream connection when assigning the remaining ports to endpoints.
WS-C3750G-24T-S supports external backup power through PWR-RPS2300 or PWR675-AC-RPS-N1=, but its internal AC supply is fixed and there is no second internal PSU bay. The external system supplies DC through the rear RPS connector. Specify the backup system separately rather than ordering a second internal supply.
Catalyst 3750 IP Base supports static routing, RIPv1/RIPv2, EIGRP Stub, PIM Stub, and HSRP. Cisco IOS 12.2(55)SE or later adds OSPF for routed access, limited to one OSPFv2 instance and one OSPFv3 instance with 200 combined dynamically learned routes. Unrestricted OSPF and full EIGRP require IP Services.
WS-C3750G-24PS-S supplies PoE, whereas WS-C3750G-24T-S is non-PoE; both use IP Base and have 24 Gigabit copper Ethernet ports. Both models are discontinued. The data model fits separately powered endpoints; the PoE model addresses endpoint power delivery within existing legacy installations.
WS-C3750G-24T-E includes IP Services, while WS-C3750G-24T-S includes IP Base on the same 24-port copper configuration. Both are discontinued. IP Base suits basic routing and stub functions; IP Services suits legacy installations requiring advanced routing capabilities such as full EIGRP.
C9300-24T-A offers modular uplinks, while WS-C3750G-24T-S has no dedicated uplink interfaces or uplink module bay. Both provide 24 copper Gigabit Ethernet ports without PoE. The discontinued legacy switch fits an existing copper-only configuration; C9300-24T-A suits a refresh requiring a separate, expandable uplink architecture.
WS-C3750G-24T-S-RF identifies a Cisco-remanufactured version, not an ORM Systems certified refurbished unit. ORM's condition describes its own inspection and bench-testing process; the RF suffix describes Cisco's remanufacturing program. Specify the exact PID and condition separately, because the two refurbishment designations are not interchangeable.
