WS-C3750X-48T-E identifies a stackable Catalyst 3750-X switch: WS-C3750X identifies the switch family, 48 identifies the access-port count, T identifies copper data ports without PoE, and E identifies IP Services. The configuration provides 10/100/1000 Ethernet connectivity; its uplink interfaces depend on a separately selected network module rather than a fixed-uplink code.
WS-C3750X-48T-E supports CLI access through RJ-45 or USB Type-B console, Telnet, and SSH with a cryptographic image. A PC-based configuration tool, CiscoWorks LAN Management Solution, and SNMPv1, SNMPv2c, and SNMPv3 provide additional management paths. The Ethernet management port permits out-of-band access; verify the installed image before specifying encrypted administration.
WS-C3750X-48T-E is discontinued: end-of-sale was October 30, 2016, and Cisco support ended October 31, 2021. Software maintenance ended October 30, 2017, followed by vulnerability support on October 30, 2019. A replacement order therefore does not restore Cisco service eligibility or restart the retired software-support milestones for this model.
