136 Gbps switching capacity and 102 Mpps forwarding provide hardware-based IPv4 switching. WS-C4948-10GE-E supports dynamic routing, while IPv6 forwarding is software-based rather than hardware-based.
WS-C4948-10GE-E is offered new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to a 3-year extended warranty on new orders and up to 1 year on certified refurbished orders. Refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested, including power-on and POST, rated-speed port links, clean boot, optics bay recognition, PSU status and fan status. Specify the condition, quantity and required accessories on the purchase order; returns are available for 30 days in every condition, with terms applying. WS-C4948-10GE-E is discontinued. Cisco end-of-sale was February 28, 2013, and the last date of support was February 28, 2018. Cisco service has ended.
