The HPE 813874-B21 is a hot-pluggable 10GBase-T SFP+ copper transceiver module for 10 Gbps Ethernet over RJ45 cabling. It delivers reliable connectivity up to 30 meters on Cat6a/Cat7 cables.
This transceiver is officially supported in HPE switches, routers and servers with standard SFP+ ports, including Aruba CX, FlexFabric and ProLiant platforms. Third-party IEEE 802.3an-compliant systems may operate it but lack HPE validation.
It supports Category 6a and Category 7 twisted-pair copper cables terminated with RJ45 connectors. For optimal performance at 10 Gbps, use shielded Cat6a or Cat7 cabling.
It supports distances up to 30 meters on Cat6a and up to 45 meters on Cat7 cabling. Link reach may vary with cable quality and environmental conditions.
