The 830720-L21 kit includes two Intel Xeon E5-2623v4 CPUs, each with four cores, eight threads, a base clock of 2.6 GHz, Turbo Boost up to 3.1 GHz, 10 MB cache and 85 W TDP.
The FIO mezzanine card in this kit provides two 10 GbE SFP+ ports, enabling high-throughput, low-latency connectivity ideally suited for storage clusters, virtualization and data-intensive analytics.
The 830720-L21 FIO Kit is fully compatible with HPE Apollo 4200 Gen9 chassis and compute nodes, requiring no additional adapters or firmware updates when installed in a Gen9 environment.
To install, power down the server, remove the existing CPU/mezzanine assembly, insert the FIO Kit module into the CPU socket and PCI mezzanine slot, secure latches, reassemble and power on; the system will auto-detect new hardware.
