The ASR5K-4OC3C-MM-K9 is Cisco’s OLC2 4-port ATM STM-1c/OC-3c line card with multi-mode SFP support, designed for high-availability service provider applications.
This line card provides four full-duplex ATM STM-1c/OC-3c ports for up to 155 Mbps per port.
It uses Cisco multi-mode 1000BASE-SX SFP modules (MMF) for short-reach connectivity up to 550 meters.
Each OC-3c port can handle up to 155 Mbps, delivering aggregate performance of up to 620 Mbps across all four ports.
This line card is fully compatible with Cisco ASR 5000 series service routers running IOS XR Release 2.0 or later.
Power down the router, slide the card into an available line-card slot, secure the captive screws, power up, and verify with the “show platform” command.
No additional license is required beyond the standard IOS XR feature set; just ensure your router is running a supported release.
Typical power draw is approximately 15 Watts per card under full load conditions.
