The Cisco ASR5K-PSC-64G-K9 is a third-generation Packet Services Card (PSC3) with 64 GB of packet buffer designed for ASR 5000 series routers to optimize traffic management and subscriber services.
The PSC3 64GB card is compatible with Cisco ASR 5000 series routers, including ASR 5010, ASR 5020 and ASR 5030 chassis running IOS XR software.
To install, power off the ASR 5000 slot, slide the PSC3 64GB card into the designated packet services slot, secure the retention latches, then power on and verify installation via IOS XR CLI.
The PSC3 64GB provides up to 100 Gbps of packet processing throughput and low-latency buffering, ensuring high-speed service delivery and QoS enforcement.
