CBS250-48PP-4G is a smart-managed Layer 2+ switch with 48 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ access ports and four fixed 1G SFP uplinks for small-business networks. The uplinks accept compatible transceivers directly rather than requiring an uplink card. Its rack-mount 1U chassis accommodates copper endpoint connections and separate fiber connections to the upstream network. An installed SF250-48HP-K9-NA moving to Gigabit access has CBS250-48PP-4G-NA as its named migration model, now discontinued. The older switch uses 10/100 access links. For an existing-site hardware refresh, inventory patching and powered devices, then specify the regional bundle and condition before the purchase order.
A US buyer consolidating spare-switch orders needs the CBS250-48PP-4G-NA regional bundle; UK and European installations have CBS250-48PP-4G-UK and CBS250-48PP-4G-EU variants. A shared hardware model name does not settle the country-specific order suffix. Separate delivery destinations and regional power-cord requirements on the purchase order rather than treating every bundle as interchangeable.

CBS250-48PP-4G identifies the Business 250 family, 48 Gigabit access ports, the PP PoE+ configuration with a 195W budget, and four Gigabit SFP uplinks represented by 4G. The regional order variant adds a country suffix; CBS250-48PP-4G-NA is the North American version, including the United States.
CBS250-48PP-4G supports a web UI over HTTP/HTTPS, full and menu-based CLI over SSH or Telnet, an RJ-45 console, Cisco Business Dashboard, the Cisco Business mobile app and SNMP. The dashboard uses an embedded probe, so a separate on-site probe appliance is unnecessary.
CBS250-48PP-4G is discontinued, with end-of-sale on October 29, 2024. Software maintenance and scheduled security remedies ended October 29, 2025, while applicable service and support ends October 31, 2029.
