CBS350-16XTS-EU combines eight 10GbE copper ports with eight dedicated 10G SFP+ interfaces in a managed Layer 2+ rack switch. Its fixed uplinks require no removable network card, and the non-PoE configuration connects separately powered equipment. The Cisco Business 350 Series serves small-business networks that need copper and fiber connections in the same chassis. Unlike shared combo interfaces, the dedicated fiber connections do not displace copper ports. The discontinued CBS350-24XTS-EU expands the arrangement to twelve copper and twelve dedicated SFP+ interfaces, making port density the principal distinction between these mixed-media models.

320 Gbps switching capacity supports nonblocking switching across the interfaces. 238.08 Mpps forwarding describes performance with 64-byte packets. Static routing, RIP v2 and PBR provide routed connectivity without extending the feature set to enterprise routing protocols. CBS350-16XTS-EU carries 512 MB DRAM and 256 MB flash, while a shared 3 MB packet buffer handles traffic across the ports. Within the Cisco Business portfolio, this configuration combines routed small-business switching with hardware stacking rather than management-only grouping. STP, RSTP, MSTP and LACP provide topology-control and link-aggregation options.
ORM Systems offers CBS350-16XTS-EU in new sealed and certified refurbished condition, with up to a 3-year extended warranty on new units and up to 1 year on certified refurbished units, plus 30-day returns on every condition; terms apply. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, rated-speed links on every port, optics bay recognition, PSU and fan status, and clean boot; firmware is verified and configurations are wiped to factory default. Specify condition, quantities and link accessories on the PO. POs are accepted, government buyers have Net-30 terms, and enterprise or volume orders can use regional stock and RMA across the UK, EU, US and MEA, with advance replacement.

An installation retaining SX550X-16FT-K9-EU hardware can use this switch as its named migration model. The older switch reached end of sale on July 30, 2022. Treat the purchase as a hardware refresh rather than assuming configurations transfer unchanged; verify interface assignments and the regional order code before the PO.
A business standardizing management across several locations can use the embedded Cisco Business Dashboard probe without installing a separate probe appliance at each site. Keep discovery and management access in the rollout checklist rather than the hardware quantity alone; specify site addressing, administrative ownership and monitoring requirements before ordering.
A staging team validating configuration changes can use the dual-image firmware arrangement before releasing equipment to an operating site. Keep the intended image and configuration backup under change control rather than assuming the delivered image matches the estate; specify the acceptance configuration and validation sequence before issuing the PO.
PoE power for connected endpoints
CBS350-16XTS-EU supplies no endpoint power. Phones, cameras and access points requiring power through their Ethernet connection need a separate power source or a different powered switch configuration.
Ongoing scheduled security maintenance
Scheduled vulnerability support ended October 29, 2025. C1300-16XTS is the current migration model, retaining eight 10G copper ports and eight SFP+ ports.

CBS350-16XTS-EU identifies a Business 350 managed switch with eight 10G copper ports and eight dedicated SFP+ ports. CBS350 identifies the series, 16XTS identifies this mixed-media configuration, and EU identifies a regional ordering group covering the European Economic Area and additional markets rather than a software license tier.
CBS350-16XTS-EU supports a web UI, CLI through console, SSH or Telnet, SNMP, Cisco Business Dashboard and the Cisco Business mobile app. Select the access method before staging, and define management addressing, credentials and monitoring requirements separately rather than treating Dashboard access as the only available management path.
Yes, CBS350-16XTS-EU reached end of sale on October 29, 2024. Software maintenance and scheduled vulnerability support ended October 29, 2025, while the last date of support is October 31, 2029. Remaining hardware support must not be interpreted as a commitment to additional software maintenance or scheduled security remedies.
New sealed CBS350-16XTS-EU units have up to a 3-year extended ORM warranty; certified refurbished units have up to 1 year. Both conditions include 30-day returns; terms apply. Cisco's limited lifetime hardware warranty is bounded by October 31, 2029. Refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested, with firmware verified and configurations wiped to factory default.
No, CBS350-16XTS-EU requires no switch license or subscription to access its included features. The hardware purchase includes the available functionality rather than a choice of perpetual feature tiers. Keep separately purchased services distinct on the PO so their scope is not confused with a mandatory switch software entitlement.
CBS350-16XTS-EU replaces SX550X-16FT-K9-EU, which reached end of sale on July 30, 2022. That relationship identifies the hardware migration direction, not automatic configuration interchangeability. For an installed-base refresh, compare the actual connection map and staging requirements before treating the replacement as a drop-in substitution for the older unit.
CBS350-16XTS-EU hardware stacking supports four members and manages the stack as a single system. Ring and chain arrangements are available through 10G interconnects. Reserve the required interfaces during connection planning, and establish the intended topology before ordering cables rather than allocating every interface to an endpoint first.
Business 350 supports static routing, RIP v2 and PBR, with a stated limit of 990 static routes and 128 IP interfaces. Those limits describe different resources and should be checked separately. Size the intended routed interfaces and static entries before approval rather than treating the static-route limit as an unrestricted routing scale figure.
CBS350-16XTS-EU uses an internal 100-240V AC supply, with a maximum stated consumption of 57.7W. The chassis does not provide a redundant internal supply option. Include its power connection in the rack plan, and distinguish the switch's own electrical requirement from the separate power arrangements needed by connected equipment.
CBS350-12NP-4X-EU supplies endpoint power, while CBS350-16XTS-EU does not. The powered model has twelve 5G access ports and four 10G uplinks, so it is not a like-for-like copper-speed replacement. CBS350-12NP-4X-EU is discontinued without a current migration product; the distinction matters for powered-endpoint sparing versus separately powered 10G equipment.
CBS350-24XTS-EU has twelve copper and twelve dedicated SFP+ interfaces, compared with eight of each on CBS350-16XTS-EU. Both models are discontinued. The smaller configuration matches an existing eight-copper, eight-fiber connection plan; the larger configuration addresses a denser installed-base requirement rather than serving as the current successor to this switch.
C1300-16XTS is the current migration model for the discontinued CBS350-16XTS-EU, with the same eight-port 10G copper and eight-port SFP+ arrangement. The principal distinction here is lifecycle, not a higher connection count. Existing-estate matching can justify the older model, while a current-generation hardware refresh follows the migration model.
