160 Gbps switching capacity provides nonblocking forwarding across the available network interfaces. 119.05 Mpps forwarding performance applies to 64-byte packets, keeping packet-rate requirements distinct from bandwidth requirements. Static routing, RIP v2, and PBR support communication between IP networks; the routing configuration supports 990 static routes and 128 IP interfaces. CBS350-8XT-NA carries 512 MB DRAM and 256 MB flash for operation and firmware storage. A dynamically shared 6 MB packet buffer serves traffic across the ports rather than assigning that capacity to each interface. Administrators can configure the Cisco Business switch through its browser interface or Textview CLI, with SSH available for remote command-line access. When replacing an installed SX350X-08-K9-NA, this model follows the eight-port 10 Gigabit copper replacement path. The older switch reached end of sale on July 30, 2022. Ring and chain arrangements are supported, and link aggregation can span stack members. When standardizing configuration across several small offices, Cisco Network Plug and Play supports provisioning and configuration updates. An embedded Cisco Business Dashboard probe avoids a separate probe appliance or virtual machine at the location. PoE power for attached endpoints
The copper interfaces carry network traffic without supplying PoE. Phones, access points, or cameras requiring power from their Ethernet connection cannot receive that power from this model.
