CBS350-24P-4G-EU provides fanless, managed Layer 2+ switching with 24 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ access ports and four fixed 1G SFP uplinks. The Business 350 chassis occupies one rack unit and connects office computers alongside powered phones, wireless access points and cameras. Copper access and separate fiber connections let buyers retain Gigabit endpoint cabling while selecting uplink media independently. The discontinued CBS350-24FP-4G-EU differs principally in endpoint power allocation, offering a 370W PoE budget. Within the Cisco Business portfolio, this model combines local switching with static and RIP v2 routing rather than an enterprise routing license hierarchy. Its fixed uplink architecture does not provide a removable network-module upgrade path.

56 Gbps switching capacity supports nonblocking forwarding across the installed interfaces. 41.66 Mpps forwarding applies to 64-byte packets, providing a separate measure for small-packet traffic. 195W of shared PoE power must cover the combined demands of connected powered devices. Static routing, RIP v2 and PBR support local traffic forwarding, with 990 static routes and 128 IP interfaces available. CBS350-24P-4G-EU carries 512 MB DRAM, 256 MB flash and a dynamically shared 1.5 MB packet buffer. Administrators can use STP/RSTP/MSTP for loop control and LACP for aggregated connections. Browser configuration, a scriptable CLI and SNMP provide different operational interfaces. Hardware stacking is not supported on this model, so centralized management does not turn multiple units into one forwarding system. The internal universal AC supply powers the chassis; a second internal redundant supply is not an ordering option.
ORM Systems supplies CBS350-24P-4G-EU new sealed or certified refurbished; specify condition, quantity and the required regional power connection on the purchase order. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, rated-speed links on every port, clean boot, PoE output under load on every powered port, optics bay recognition and PSU status; firmware is verified and configuration wiped to factory default. New units carry up to a 3-year extended warranty, certified refurbished units up to 1 year, and every condition has 30-day returns, terms apply. Enterprise and volume orders can use accepted POs, government Net-30 and RMA with advance replacement, with regional stock and RMA across the UK, EU, US and MEA.

When an office refresh combines phones, access points and cameras, endpoint compatibility and aggregate demand require separate checks. The switch supports 802.3af and 802.3at powered devices, but endpoint count alone does not establish the required allocation. Record each device's requested power and size the combined load before the PO.
When a branch adds guest connectivity alongside employee services, VLAN requirements become part of the hardware selection. The switch supports 4094 simultaneous VLANs, guest VLANs and protected ports. Define the guest isolation policy, authentication behavior and required uplink tagging before specifying the configuration on the purchase order.
When several small offices need a common management approach, the embedded Cisco Business Dashboard probe removes the requirement for a separate on-site probe appliance or virtual machine. Cisco Business mobile app support provides another administrative path. Specify the intended management workflow and provisioning responsibilities before ordering site quantities.
10G uplinks to distribution
The fixed uplinks stop at 1G and cannot accept an upgrade module. C1300-24P-4X is the current migration option with four 10G SFP+ uplinks.
Ongoing scheduled security software maintenance
Scheduled vulnerability and security support ended October 29, 2025. C1300-24P-4G is the current migration model for a new purchase requiring a supported successor.

CBS350-24P-4G-EU identifies a Cisco Business 350 managed switch: 24 denotes the Gigabit access-port count, P identifies the PoE model, and 4G denotes four Gigabit SFP uplinks. EU is the regional ordering suffix covering the European Economic Area and several additional countries; it is not a software license tier.
Cisco Business 350 supports an HTTP/HTTPS web interface, CLI access through the console or SSH/Telnet, SNMP, Cisco Business Dashboard and the Cisco Business mobile app. The CLI supports scripting and a menu-based interface. An embedded Dashboard probe avoids a separate on-site probe appliance or virtual machine.
CBS350-24P-4G-EU is discontinued, with end of sale on October 29, 2024, and last date of support on October 31, 2029. Software maintenance and scheduled vulnerability support ended October 29, 2025. C1300-24P-4G is the current migration model, so hardware support remaining does not mean continued software maintenance.
ORM offers CBS350-24P-4G-EU new sealed with up to a 3-year extended warranty or certified refurbished with up to 1 year. Returns cover 30 days on every condition; terms apply. Cisco's Limited Lifetime Warranty includes next-business-day advance replacement where available, with Cisco service ending October 31, 2029, subject to eligibility and warranty terms.
CBS350-24P-4G-EU replaces the discontinued SF350-24P-K9-EU, SG350-28P-K9-EU and SG350-28P-K9-KR. SF350-24P-K9-EU reached end of sale January 29, 2023; both SG350 variants reached end of sale October 30, 2021. CBS350-24P-4G-EU is itself discontinued, and C1300-24P-4G is the current model at the end of that migration chain.
CBS350-24P-4G-EU provides a shared 195W PoE budget across 24 powered access ports. The access ports support PoE and PoE+, but the number of connected devices does not determine their combined demand. Add the endpoint power requirements before ordering rather than assuming every powered port can operate at maximum output simultaneously.
Cisco Business 350 supports Gigabit fiber optics including MGBSX1 for multimode connections and MGBLX1 for single-mode connections. MGBSX1 supports distances to 500 m, while MGBLX1 supports distances to 10 km. Match the transceiver pair to the installed fiber and link distance; select optics separately from the switch.
CBS350-24P-4G-EU cannot join a hardware stack. Hardware stacking is available on selected Business 350 models with higher-speed interfaces, not this four-Gigabit-uplink model. Cisco Business Dashboard can manage multiple devices, but that management arrangement does not combine their forwarding systems or provide a single hardware stack control plane.
CBS350-24P-4G-EU supports static routing, RIP v2 and PBR, with 990 static routes and 128 IP interfaces. Routing interfaces can use physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLAN interfaces or loopbacks. Under a classification that distinguishes static and RIP routing from advanced dynamic routing, these capabilities place the switch in Layer 2+.
CBS350-24P-4G-EU has a 195W PoE budget, while CBS350-24FP-4G-EU provides 370W. The distinction is aggregate endpoint power rather than the number of powered access ports. Both models are discontinued; the P model addresses smaller combined loads, while the FP model accommodates a larger allocation when maintaining existing equipment.
CBS350-24P-4G-EU has four 1G SFP uplinks, while CBS350-24P-4X-EU has four 10G SFP+ uplinks. Both models are discontinued. For existing installations, the 4G model fits Gigabit distribution connections, while the 4X model fits connections requiring higher uplink speed; new purchases should follow their respective current migration models.
CBS350-24P-4G-EU is discontinued, while C1300-24P-4G is its current migration model. Both configurations provide 24 Gigabit PoE access ports and four Gigabit SFP uplinks. The Business 350 model serves replacement or standardization purchases for an existing estate; the Catalyst 1300 model is the successor for a new purchase.
CBS350-24P-4G-EU is a full-width, 1U rack-mount switch measuring 445 mm wide, 299 mm deep and 44 mm high. Its weight is 3.53 kg. A mounting kit is included with the device, so confirm rack clearance and the required regional power connection when preparing the order.
