DS720+ is a high-performance NAS designed for small to medium business backup, enterprise data centers, virtualization, and media server applications. It is a 2-bay storage system supporting both SATA HDD and SATA SSD drives with a total storage capacity of up to 32 TB when using dual 16 TB drives. The DS720+ supports RAID 0, RAID 1, and JBOD configurations and is powered by an Intel Celeron processor with 4 cores that ensures efficient data processing while running Synology’s DSM operating system.
DS720+ comes with 2 GB of DDR4 memory pre-installed, which can be upgraded to a maximum of 4 GB as per official vendor documentation. The NAS features integrated 1GbE network ports with 2 LAN ports and provides USB 3.0 connectivity.
