The MX240-PREM3-DC is a DC-powered, fully redundant Juniper MX240 ‘Built to Stock’ router featuring dual Switch Control Boards (SCBE), dual RE-S-1800X4-16G routing engines, and redundant power and fan trays.
The MX240-PREM3-DC includes two RE-S-1800X4-16G routing engines, each delivering up to 1.8 Tbps of throughput and supporting advanced BGP, MPLS, and SDN services.
Dual SCBEs ensure hitless failover of the forwarding plane, maintaining continuous packet forwarding even if one control board fails.
This model runs on redundant DC power trays supporting –48 V to –60 V inputs, with hot-swap capability for uninterrupted operations.
