RS1221+ is a NAS system engineered for high-performance storage in SMB backup, enterprise data centers, virtualization, and media server applications. It is a rackmount unit with 12 drive bays that support SATA, SAS, SSD, and NVMe drive types, a total storage capacity of up to 192 TB, and advanced RAID configurations including RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 6, and RAID 10.
RS1221+ is powered by an AMD Ryzen processor with 4 cores and comes standard with 8 GB ECC DDR4 memory, upgradeable to 32 GB. It offers USB 3.2 connectivity, dual 1GbE LAN ports, expansion support for additional storage, and features redundant power supplies rated at 350W along with redundant fan cooling to ensure reliable performance.
