SG350X-48-K9-EU combines 48 Gigabit copper access ports with four fixed 10G uplinks for managed small-business networks. Two uplinks are dedicated SFP+ connections, while two provide a choice between 10GBASE-T copper and SFP+ fiber, with only one medium active per shared connection. This Layer 2+ switch supports static routing between network segments and occupies one rack unit. The non-PoE configuration connects independently powered computers, printers and other Ethernet devices without allocating an endpoint power budget. Within the Cisco 350X Series, hardware stacking joins physical switches into one managed system. The discontinued SG350X-48P-K9-EU differs by adding powered access ports. Automatic voice VLAN assignment and traffic prioritization also support installations carrying telephone traffic alongside ordinary business data.

176 Gbps switching capacity supports simultaneous forwarding across the access and uplink connections. 130.94 Mpps forwarding performance applies to 64-byte packets, providing a separate packet-processing measure for traffic sizing. Static IPv4 routing supports 990 routes, while IPv6 forwarding accommodates 245 static routes; dynamic route exchange is not part of this feature set. SG350X-48-K9-EU carries 512 MB of memory and 256 MB of flash for its embedded software and configuration functions. A shared 3 MB packet buffer serves traffic across the ports, rather than assigning that capacity to each connection. The address table holds 16000 MAC entries, and VLAN segmentation supports 4094 active VLANs. STP, RSTP and MSTP provide spanning-tree options, while LACP supports aggregated connections. Browser management, a scriptable CLI and SNMP provide local and remote administration paths. Dual software images support image selection during maintenance, and the front USB connection supports configuration and software transfers.
SG350X-48-K9-EU is offered new sealed or certified refurbished; specify condition, quantity and required accessories on the PO. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, rated-speed port links, optics bay recognition, PSU status, fan status and clean boot, with firmware verified and configuration wiped to factory default. ORM's warranty is up to a 3-year extended warranty for new units or up to 1 year for certified refurbished units, with 30-day returns on every condition; terms apply. For enterprise and volume orders, PO acceptance, Net-30 for government and RMA with advance replacement are available, with regional stock and RMA across UK, EU, US and MEA.

When a branch rollout requires switches to enter an established provisioning workflow, the Cisco Network Plug and Play agent supports Cisco PnP Connect. The provisioning process can cover initial deployment or configuration updates. Specify the intended provisioning service and prepare the required device configuration before releasing the purchase order.
When additional workgroups need separate gateway interfaces, the switch supports 128 IP interfaces across physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLAN interfaces and loopback interfaces. Interface count and route count are separate constraints. Check the gateway addressing plan and required interface types before specifying units for the expansion.
When a staging lab needs packet capture before production changes, port mirroring can send traffic from eight source ports to one destination port. RSPAN also carries mirrored traffic across a Layer 2 domain. Identify the analyzer connection and capture sources before ordering the switch and associated lab cabling.
PoE power for connected endpoints
SG350X-48-K9-EU supplies no endpoint power through its access ports. C1300-48P-4X is a current 48-port Gigabit PoE alternative with four 10G SFP+ uplinks.
Dynamic routing between network segments
SG350X-48-K9-EU supports static IPv4 and IPv6 routing rather than dynamic route exchange. A requirement for dynamically learned routes exceeds its routing capabilities.
Cisco support beyond October 2026
SG350X-48-K9-EU reaches its last date of support on October 31, 2026. C1300-48T-4X is the current successor for purchases requiring a newer lifecycle.

SG350X-48-K9-EU identifies a regional 48-port Gigabit stackable managed switch. SG350X identifies the model family, 48 indicates the access-port count, and EU selects a country/region group that includes the European Union. Retain K9 in the complete ordering identifier. This configuration has no PoE and includes four 10G uplinks.
SG350X-48-K9-EU is managed through HTTP/HTTPS, console CLI, SSH, Telnet or SNMP versions 1, 2c and 3. Additional paths include Smart Network Application, FindIT Network Manager, embedded FindIT Network Probe, FindIT Network Discovery Utility and Active Advisor. Cisco Network Plug and Play supports Cisco PnP Connect provisioning.

SG350X-48-K9-EU replaced the discontinued SF550X-48-K9-EU, a 48-port 10/100 stackable switch whose end-of-sale date was June 18, 2020. The SG350X model increases access connection speed to Gigabit Ethernet. SG350X-48-K9-EU is itself discontinued, and the current successor at the end of its replacement chain is C1300-48T-4X.
SG350X-48P-K9-EU adds 48 powered access ports and a shared 382W PoE budget, whereas SG350X-48-K9-EU provides no endpoint power. Both models are discontinued. The non-PoE model suits independently powered equipment; the powered model suits existing installations requiring PoE, subject to total endpoint demand remaining within its shared budget.
SG350X-48-K9-EU has 48 Gigabit access ports, while SG350X-24-K9-EU has 24; both retain four fixed 10G uplinks. Both models are discontinued. The 48-port model suits denser existing wiring requirements, while the 24-port model suits smaller port allocations where matching the installed 350X generation remains the purchasing requirement.
C1300-48T-4X provides four 10G SFP+ uplinks, while SG350X-48-K9-EU has two dedicated SFP+ uplinks plus two copper/SFP+ combo uplinks. The SG350X model is discontinued; C1300-48T-4X is its current successor after the discontinued CBS350-48T-4X-EU. The older model suits installed-generation matching, while Catalyst 1300 suits a current-generation purchase.
SG350X-48-K9-EU provides four fixed 10G uplinks: two dedicated SFP+ ports and two 10GBASE-T/SFP+ combo ports. Each combo connection uses copper or SFP+, not both simultaneously. The uplink interfaces also support 1G operation. Fiber connections require compatible transceivers selected for the fiber type and link distance.
Four Cisco 350X switches can form one hardware stack managed as a single system. Ring and chain arrangements are supported, including mixed SG350X, SG350XG and SX350X members. Supported 10G copper connections include SFP-H10GB-CU1M= and SFP-H10GB-CU3M=, providing 1 m and 3 m cable lengths respectively.
Yes, the Cisco 350X supports static routing between VLANs, with 990 IPv4 static routes and 245 IPv6 static routes. Its interface limits are 128 IPv4 interfaces and 106 IPv6 interfaces. This is Layer 2+ functionality rather than dynamic routing, so routing requirements must remain within those static-routing capabilities.
SG350X-48-K9-EU uses an internal universal AC power supply accepting 100-240V AC at 47-63 Hz, without internal power-supply redundancy. Worst-case consumption is 51.6W at 110V or 51.4W at 220V. These figures cover the switch itself because this configuration does not deliver PoE power to connected endpoints.
Yes, the Cisco SG350X-48 fits a standard equipment rack and occupies 1U, with a mounting kit included. The chassis measures 440 mm wide, 44 mm high and 257 mm deep, and weighs 3.73 kg. The package also includes a power cord and console cable for installation and initial access.
