SG550X-24-K9 is a managed, stackable Layer 2+ 550X switch with 24 10/100/1000 copper access ports and four fixed 10 Gigabit uplinks: two 10GBase-T/SFP+ combo interfaces plus two SFP+ slots. The 1U Cisco SG550X-24 24-port Gigabit Stackable Switch serves SMB access closets that need non-PoE endpoint connectivity, local VLAN segmentation and 10G handoff capacity without a modular uplink card. The 24-port Gigabit stackable switch also fits mixed 550X stacks because the family allows Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet models in one stack. Within the Cisco 550X Series Stackable Managed Switches, SG550X-24P-K9 adds 195W of PoE+ budget while keeping the same 24-port Gigabit layout and fixed 10G uplink arrangement.
SG550X-24-K9 price for new stock is $729.75, a 71.5% saving from the Cisco list price of $2,558.52. SG550X-24-K9 refurb price is $997.50. SG550X-24-K9 is in stock and available for next-day dispatch. (terms applied)

128 Gbps switching capacity and 95.23 Mpps forwarding rate support wire-speed, nonblocking use across the access and uplink paths. Static IPv4 routing supports 7168 routes and 256 IP interfaces, with RIP v2, VRRP and PBR available for routed SMB edge designs. SG550X-24-K9 also supports STP/RSTP/MSTP, PVST+, RPVST+ and LACP, with up to 4094 active VLANs, 32 link aggregation groups and 16000 MAC addresses. Management runs through a browser GUI, Textview CLI, SSH, SNMP, Smart Network Application and embedded FindIT Network Probe; flash is 256 MB, CPU memory is 512 MB and packet buffer is 1.5 MB. The hardware stack supports eight units, hybrid SF550X, SG550X, SG550XG and SX550X membership, and 10G fiber or copper stack interconnects rather than dedicated stack ports. An RPS connector supports external RPS2300 power redundancy, while the internal supply remains fixed.
SG550X-24-K9 is available from ORM Systems as new sealed or certified refurbished hardware; the United States order line uses the -NA regional variant. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested, with clean boot, every port linking at rated speed, optics bay recognition, fan status, PSU status, firmware verification and factory-default wipe. Order this switch with SFP-10G-SR, SFP-10G-LR, SFP-H10GB-CU1M, SFP-H10GB-CU3M or SFP-H10GB-CU5M where uplinks or stacking require optics or cables. New units carry up to a 3-year extended ORM warranty, certified refurbished units carry up to 1 year, and every condition includes 30-day returns, terms apply; PO accepted, Net-30 for government, RMA with advance replacement and UK, EU, US and MEA stock/RMA support.

A site adding a second closet can extend an existing 550X stack instead of creating a separate management island; hardware stacking supports eight units and up to 400 Ethernet ports. Reserve two 10G uplink interfaces per member when a ring topology is required, then specify SFP-H10GB-CU1M, SFP-H10GB-CU3M, SFP-H10GB-CU5M, SFP-10G-SR or SFP-10G-LR.
A branch replacing SF550X-24-K9 regional units moves from 10/100 access to 10/100/1000 access while staying within the 550X stackable managed family. Check country suffix and support dates before the PO because the predecessor reached end of sale on June 18, 2020 and 550X support ends July 31, 2027.
A wiring closet serving desktops, printers or local routers can standardize on 24 copper access ports without buying PoE capacity. Size separate injectors or powered switches for phones and access points, then reserve the four 10G uplinks for distribution, aggregation or hardware-stack interconnects before the PO.
PoE endpoint power
SG550X-24-K9 has 24 non-PoE 10/100/1000 ports; use C1300-24P-4X for 24-port Gigabit PoE access with 4x10G SFP+ uplinks.
Forty-eight access ports
SG550X-24-K9 is a 24-port access model; use C1300-48T-4X when the current standard needs 48 Gigabit copper ports with 4x10G SFP+ uplinks.
Internal PSU redundancy
The switch uses an internal universal supply and an RPS connector, not dual internal power-supply bays; specify an RPS2300 design or select another switch family.
10G access ports
The access edge is 24 x 10/100/1000, with 10G only on uplinks; use C1300-24XT for 24-port 10GE copper access with shared 10G SFP+.

SG550X-24-K9 is the base order ID for the Cisco SG550X-24 24-port Gigabit stackable switch. SG550X-24 identifies the model with 24 10/100/1000 ports, K9 is the product order-code segment, and a country suffix such as -NA completes the orderable PID for a region.
SG550X-24-K9 is managed through the browser-based GUI, Textview CLI, SSH, SNMP, Smart Network Application and embedded FindIT Network Probe. HTTP and HTTPS are available for web access, while CLI users can use Textview and SSH; the model is not an unmanaged plug-and-play switch.
SG550X-24-K9 is end-of-sale, with Cisco last-day-to-order July 30, 2022 and last date of support July 31, 2027. The published migration path moves SG550X-24 regional PIDs to CBS350-24T-4X regional PIDs, then to C1300-24T-4X after the CBS350 notice.
SG550X-24-K9 can be ordered from ORM Systems new sealed or certified refurbished. Cisco's limited lifetime hardware warranty is bounded by the July 31, 2027 last date of support; ORM coverage is up to 3 years extended for new units or up to 1 year for certified refurbished, with 30-day returns.
SG550X-24-K9 does not provide PoE. The 24 access ports are 10/100/1000 data ports, and the 550X PoE budgets apply to different P, MP or MPP models. Use a PoE model or powered midspan when phones, cameras or access points need power from the access switch.
SG550X-24-K9 has four fixed 10 Gigabit Ethernet uplinks: two 10GBase-T/SFP+ combo interfaces and two SFP+ ports. Each combo interface has copper and SFP/SFP+ sides, but only one side of a combo port is active at a time.
SG550X-24-K9 supports hardware stacking for up to eight units and up to 400 Ethernet ports as one managed system. The stack can mix SF550X, SG550X, SG550XG and SX550X models, and it uses 10G fiber or copper interfaces in ring or chain topologies.
For SG550X-24-K9 orders in the United States, use SG550X-24-K9-NA. The same -NA suffix covers USA, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and the rest of LATAM; other regions use suffixes such as -EU, -UK, -AU, -BR, -CN or -JP.
SG550X-24-K9 supports Layer 2+ routing with static IPv4 routes up to 7168 entries, IPv6 static routing up to 1792 routes, RIP v2, VRRP and PBR. The routed interfaces can be physical ports, LAGs, VLAN interfaces or loopback interfaces, with up to 256 IP interfaces.
SG550X-24P-K9 adds PoE+ to 24 10/100/1000 ports with a 195W PoE budget, while SG550X-24-K9 has 24 non-PoE 10/100/1000 ports. Both keep four 10 Gigabit uplinks; SG550X-24-K9 fits data-only access, and SG550X-24P-K9 fits powered endpoints.
SG550X-48-K9 carries 48 10/100/1000 access ports, while SG550X-24-K9 carries 24. Both are non-PoE Gigabit models with four 10 Gigabit uplinks; SG550X-24-K9 fits smaller access counts, and SG550X-48-K9 fits higher copper density in the same 550X family.
C1300-24T-4X is the current migration model after CBS350-24T-4X-NA, while SG550X-24-K9 reaches Cisco last support on July 31, 2027. The migration descriptions keep 24-port GE and 4x10G SFP+; SG550X-24-K9 suits installed 550X stacks, and C1300-24T-4X suits new standards.
SG550X-24-K9 regional PIDs replace SF550X-24-K9 regional PIDs in the 550X notice for SF550X and SG550XG models. The SF550X-24 predecessor was a 24-port 10/100 stackable switch with end of sale on June 18, 2020 and last support on June 30, 2025.
SG550X-24-K9 does not have a separate software tier to choose on the hardware line. The 550X managed feature set includes switching, Layer 3 routing, stacking and management features on the product; the purchase line should focus on regional PID, condition and accessories.
