SG350-28-K9 is a managed Layer 2+ Gigabit Ethernet switch with 24 fixed 10/100/1000 access ports and four fixed 1G SFP uplink positions, two of them shared as copper/SFP combo interfaces. The rack-mount 1U, fanless hardware sits in the Cisco 350 Series Managed Switches portfolio for small business networks that need wired desktop, printer, server or guest connectivity without endpoint power. The Cisco SG350-28 uses an internal 100-240V AC supply and does not require a modular uplink card. SG350-28P-K9 is the closest PoE sibling; it keeps the same 28-port Gigabit layout and adds PoE+ with a 195W PoE budget.
SG350-28-K9 price for new stock is $543.90, a 73.6% saving from the Cisco list price of $2,057.91. SG350-28-K9 refurb price is $126.00. SG350-28-K9 is in stock and available for next-day dispatch. (terms applied)

56 Gbps switching capacity and 41.66 Mpps forwarding keep the data plane wire speed and nonblocking on 64-byte packet tests. Static IPv4 routing supports up to 990 routes and 128 IP interfaces, while IPv6 routing, CIDR, PBR, DHCP relay and UDP relay cover lightweight inter-VLAN forwarding without OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS or BGP. 16K MAC addresses, 4094 VLANs, 1K ACL rules and a 1.5 MB shared packet buffer define the control and segmentation scale. SG350-28-K9 carries 512 MB memory, 256 MB flash, a front USB Type-A slot, dual images and a Cisco standard RJ-45 console port. Management can use the browser GUI over HTTP/HTTPS, Textview CLI through console, SSH or Telnet, SNMPv1/v2c/v3, Cisco Smart Network Application and FindIT Network Manager/Probe.
SG350-28-K9 can be ordered new sealed or certified refurbished. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested; managed units are firmware verified and wiped to factory default, with power-on and POST, every port linking at rated speed, optics bay recognition, PSU status and clean boot checked. Place the PO with the required regional suffix and any MGBSX1, MGBLX1, MGBLH1, MGBT1, GLC-LH-SMD or GLC-BX-U optics needed for uplinks. New units qualify for up to a 3-year extended warranty, certified refurbished units for up to 1 year, and returns are 30 days on every condition, terms apply; PO accepted, Net-30 for government, RMA with advance replacement and regional stock/RMA in the UK, EU, US and MEA.

Replacement PID | CBS350-24T-4G / C1300-24T-4G |
A small branch with wired users, printers and a local server can standardize on one fanless 1U access switch when 24 copper Gigabit drops cover the closet. Before the PO, specify the regional suffix, power cord expectations and any 1G SFP optics needed for fiber handoff.
A site replacing SG300-28 or SRW2024-K9 regional units can preserve the 24-access-port Gigabit layout while moving to the SG350 generation. Check whether the old uplink ports used copper or fiber, then match each active SFP link with the replacement optic PID.
A compact routed edge with a few VLANs can use static IPv4 routing, IPv6 routing and PBR instead of deploying a dynamic routing switch. Count the route plan against the 990 static-route limit and 128 IP interfaces before adding the switch to the bill of materials.
PoE endpoint power
SG350-28-K9 is Non-PoE and supplies no endpoint power. Use C1300-24P-4G for a current 24-port GE PoE model with 4x1G SFP uplinks.
10G SFP+ uplinks
The uplink positions are 1G SFP only. Use C1300-24T-4X when the closet requires a current 24-port GE switch with four 10G SFP+ uplinks.
Dynamic routing protocols
The Layer 3 feature set is static IPv4 routing, IPv6 routing and PBR, with no OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS or BGP support documented for this platform.
Redundant power supplies
The chassis uses an internal universal AC supply and has no redundant PSU bay. Do not use this model where power-module redundancy is mandatory.

SG350-28-K9 is the base PID for the Cisco SG350-28 28-port Gigabit Managed Switch. SG350 identifies the 350 managed Gigabit model family, 28 is the 28-port model, and K9 is part of the order product ID used with a country or region suffix such as -NA.
SG350-28-K9 is managed through a browser GUI over HTTP or HTTPS, Textview CLI through console, SSH or Telnet, SNMPv1/v2c/v3, Cisco Smart Network Application, and FindIT Network Manager/Probe. The switch also supports a front USB Type-A slot for image and configuration file handling.
SG350-28-K9 regional SKUs are end-of-sale, with the last day to order through Cisco on 30 October 2021. The last ship date was 28 January 2022, phone support ended 30 October 2022, and the last date of Cisco service support is 31 October 2026.
SG350-28-K9 is offered by ORM Systems as new sealed or certified refurbished. Cisco lists a limited lifetime warranty for the platform, bounded by Cisco service support ending 31 October 2026. ORM offers up to a 3-year extended warranty on new units, up to 1 year on certified refurbished units, and 30-day returns with terms applying.
SG350-28-K9 does not use a selected Network Essentials, Network Advantage or Cisco DNA license tier on the hardware order. The orderable PID is the switch hardware with the appropriate regional suffix, so quote lines should focus on condition, suffix, optics and any support requirements.
SG350-28-K9 has 28 total Gigabit Ethernet system ports: 24 fixed 10/100/1000 copper ports, two Gigabit copper/SFP combo ports and two additional 1G SFP ports. Each combo position has one active interface at a time, so a copper combo and SFP combo link cannot operate simultaneously.
No, SG350-28-K9 is a Non-PoE model and does not provide 802.3af, 802.3at or 60W PoE output. Buyers powering phones, access points or cameras from the access switch should use a PoE model such as C1300-24P-4G instead of this non-powered variant.
Yes, SG350-28-K9 supports lightweight Layer 3 routing with wirespeed IPv4 routing, up to 990 static routes, up to 128 IP interfaces, IPv6 routing and PBR. The platform is not documented with dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS or BGP.
SG350-28-K9 supports MGBSX1, MGBLX1, MGBLH1, MGBT1, GLC-LH-SMD and GLC-BX-U 1G SFP transceivers. The switch has two dedicated 1G SFP slots plus two combo SFP positions, and optics should be quoted separately when fiber uplinks are required.
No, SG350-28-K9 is not a hardware-stacking switch. The platform can be managed through Cisco small-business management tools and standard management protocols, but it has no documented stack kit, stacking cable, stack bandwidth or multi-member switching stack for a single control plane.
SG350-28-K9 replaced SG300-28, also identified as SRW2024, in Cisco small-business transition and end-of-life material. Regional SRW2024-K9 variants migrated to matching SG350-28-K9 regional variants, while the SG350 lifecycle later named CBS350-24T-4G regional PIDs as replacements.
SG350-28P-K9 adds PoE+ on 24 Gigabit access ports with a 195W PoE budget, while SG350-28-K9 is Non-PoE. Choose SG350-28P-K9 only where endpoint power is required; SG350-28-K9 fits copper data access and fiber uplink roles without powered devices.
SG350-52-K9 increases access density to 48 Gigabit copper ports and 104 Gbps switching capacity, while SG350-28-K9 has 24 Gigabit copper access ports and 56 Gbps switching capacity. The 52-port model fits larger closets; the 28-port model fits smaller access blocks.
C1300-24T-4G is the current lifecycle successor reached through the CBS350-24T-4G migration path, while SG350-28-K9 is end-of-sale with Cisco support ending 31 October 2026. Use C1300-24T-4G for current standardization; use SG350-28-K9 for installed-base sparing.
