Powered Access for Small Offices

SG350-10P-K9 is a compact Cisco SG350-10P managed switch with eight 1G PoE+ access ports, two fixed 1G copper/SFP combo uplinks and a 62W shared PoE budget. The Cisco 350 Series Managed Switches family fits SMB edge closets, desks and wall locations that need Layer 2+ switching with static routing, browser management and powered endpoints on a fanless chassis. Each combo uplink can use copper or a 1G SFP, with only one side active at a time, so fiber uplinks require separate optics. Compared with SG350-10MP-K9, this 10-port Gigabit PoE managed switch keeps the same access-port and combo-uplink layout but uses a lower PoE budget than the 124W model.

SG350-10P-K9 price for new stock is $466.20, a 19.7% saving from the Cisco list price of $580.44. SG350-10P-K9 refurb price is $451.50. SG350-10P-K9 is in stock and available for next-day dispatch. (terms applied)

Technical Details

20 Gbps switching capacity and 14.88 Mpps forwarding rate support nonblocking traffic across the compact access edge. Static IPv4 routing supports up to 990 routes and 128 IP interfaces, with IPv6 routing and PBR available for Layer 2+ segmentation rather than dynamic routed access. SG350-10P-K9 carries a 16000-entry MAC table, 512 MB CPU memory, 256 MB flash and a 1.5 MB shared packet buffer. Management is available through the web interface over HTTP/HTTPS, CLI through the console port, SSH, Telnet and SNMP, while STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP, VLANs, IGMP snooping, DHCP relay, RADIUS and TACACS+ cover common small-business control and security needs. Fanless cooling and 205647 Hours MTBF suit noise-sensitive shelves, counters and small cabinets when airflow stays within the 0°C to 50°C operating range.

Ordering

SG350-10P-K9 can be ordered new sealed or certified refurbished. Certified refurbished managed units are inspected, bench-tested, firmware verified and wiped to factory default, with power-on and POST, every port linking at rated speed, PoE output under load, optics bay recognition, clean boot and supplied-adapter output checked. Add this switch to a PO with the required regional power and uplink optics. New units qualify for up to 3-year extended warranty, certified refurbished units qualify for up to 1 year, and every condition has 30-day returns with terms applying; PO is accepted, Net-30 is available for government, and RMA with advance replacement supports UK, EU, US and MEA stock programs.

Buying Notes

Buying NotesKey Specs

Lifecycle cutoff

Regional SG350-10P-K9 variants are past Cisco sale, with last order October 30, 2021 and last support October 31, 2026; the forward migration ends at C1300-8P-E-2G.

Shared PoE budget

Eight PoE+ ports share 62W, while eight 30W endpoints would require 240W. Total the attached device draw before assuming every powered port can run at full PoE+ load.

Combo uplink optics

Using an SFP uplink consumes the shared combo interface; only one side is active at a time. Order MGBSX1, MGBLX1, MGBLH1, MGBT1, GLC-LH-SMD or GLC-BX-U optics separately.

Hardware-only ordering

The 350 managed platform does not add a separately named software subscription or license term, so the purchase line centers on the regional hardware PID and any SFP modules.

Best For

Branch PoE Refresh

A small office replacing an unmanaged PoE edge can keep eight 1G powered drops and use the two combo interfaces for copper or SFP uplinks. Before the PO, total phone, camera and access-point draw against the 62W budget and list any uplink optics separately.

Powered Edge Backup

Where an upstream PoE switch can feed the uplink ports, the compact unit can power on without AC and retain limited downstream PoE passthrough. Before ordering, decide whether AC power is primary and verify whether the upstream source is PoE, PoE+ or 60W PoE.

Static Routed Closet

A site with a few VLAN interfaces can use Layer 2+ switching while keeping inter-VLAN policy on static IPv4 routes and PBR. Before staging, define which of the 128 IP interfaces are required and keep the route plan within 990 IPv4 static routes.

Not Suitable If

Eight full-power PoE+ endpoints

62W PoE budget is shared across eight PoE+ ports; eight 30W endpoints require 240W. Size a higher-budget platform before assigning powered devices.

10G uplinks to aggregation

Two combo uplinks run at 1G, so 10G fiber aggregation is outside this model. Specify a switch with SFP+ uplinks instead.

Hardware switch stacking

Stacking technology and stack-member scaling are absent for the 350 family. Use a stackable platform rather than dashboard grouping for one control plane.

Dynamic routed access

Layer 3 support centers on static IPv4 routes, IPv6 routing and PBR; choose a routing platform when the edge requires dynamic route exchange.

Questions & Answers

What is SG350-10P-K9?

SG350-10P-K9 is the base PID for a Cisco SG350-10P 10-port Gigabit PoE managed switch. The hardware provides eight 10/100/1000 PoE+ access ports, two 1G copper/SFP combo uplinks, 62W of shared PoE power and compact fanless operation.

What does each part of SG350-10P-K9 mean?

SG350-10P identifies the Cisco SG350-10P 10-port Gigabit PoE managed switch in the ordering row. K9 is part of the published order PID, and a country or region suffix such as SG350-10P-K9-NA completes an orderable regional variant for procurement.

How is SG350-10P-K9 managed?

SG350-10P-K9 is managed through the browser-based interface over HTTP or HTTPS, CLI access through the console port, SSH, Telnet and SNMP. The switch also supports file transfer and firmware upgrade through HTTP/HTTPS, TFTP and SCP over SSH, with DHCP enabled by default for network onboarding.

Is SG350-10P-K9 end of sale?

SG350-10P-K9 regional SKUs are end of sale, with the last Cisco order date on October 30, 2021. Cisco's last date of support is October 31, 2026, and the named regional replacement was CBS350-8P-E-2G, which has a current migration path to C1300-8P-E-2G.

What condition and warranty options are available for SG350-10P-K9?

SG350-10P-K9 is available from ORM Systems as new sealed or certified refurbished. Cisco's limited lifetime hardware warranty is bounded by service ending October 31, 2026; ORM offers up to 3-year extended coverage on new units, up to 1 year on refurbished units and 30-day returns.

Does SG350-10P-K9 need a software license or subscription?

SG350-10P-K9 does not require a separately named software license or subscription in the product ordering path. The switch ships as a managed Cisco 350 Series model with Layer 2 features, static Layer 3 routing, web management and CLI management, and there is no license line to add for the switch itself.

How much PoE power does SG350-10P-K9 provide?

SG350-10P-K9 provides 62W of PoE power across eight RJ-45 ports supporting 802.3af and 802.3at powered devices. The budget is shared, so eight devices at the 30W PoE+ maximum would exceed available power before all ports could be fully loaded.

Can SG350-10P-K9 be powered by PoE?

SG350-10P-K9 can be powered through the uplink ports from upstream PoE sources. Downstream PoE availability changes by input: AC power provides 62W, two PoE+ uplinks provide 22W, one 60W PoE uplink provides 22W and two 60W PoE uplinks provide 50W.

How many uplink ports does SG350-10P-K9 have?

SG350-10P-K9 has two 1G copper/SFP combo uplinks. Each combo interface has one RJ-45 side and one SFP side with only one active at a time; supported 1G SFP module PIDs include MGBSX1, MGBLX1, MGBLH1, MGBT1, GLC-LH-SMD and GLC-BX-U.

Can SG350-10P-K9 be mounted on a wall or rack?

SG350-10P-K9 is a compact desktop-size switch at 280 mm wide, 44 mm high and 170 mm deep. The package includes rubber feet, a rack-mount kit and a wall mounting package for SG350-10, SG350-10P and SG350-10MP compact models.

Which older PID did SG350-10P-K9 replace?

SG350-10P-K9 regional variants were named as replacements for SG300-10PP-K9-UK and SF352-08P-K9-CN in older product migrations. The replacement mapping is regional, so a purchase order should match the country suffix rather than treating the base PID as the full orderable code.

What is the difference between SG350-10P-K9 and SG350-10-K9?

SG350-10P-K9 supplies eight 1G PoE+ access ports with a 62W power budget, while SG350-10-K9 has eight 1G access ports without PoE. Both use two 1G copper/SFP combo uplinks, so the PoE model fits powered endpoints and the non-PoE model fits data-only drops.

What is the difference between SG350-10P-K9 and SG350-10MP-K9?

SG350-10MP-K9 raises the PoE budget to 124W where SG350-10P-K9 provides 62W. Both carry eight 1G PoE+ ports and two 1G copper/SFP combo uplinks, so the MP model suits denser powered-device loads and the 10P model suits lighter PoE draw.

What is the difference between SG350-10P-K9 and C1300-8P-E-2G?

C1300-8P-E-2G is the current migration PID for the replacement chain, while SG350-10P-K9 regional SKUs are in the 350 lifecycle with support ending October 31, 2026. Both map to an 8-port GE PoE configuration with external power and 2x1G combo uplinks.
