The 512-Snapshot Software E-LTU is compatible with HP MSA 2050, 2052, 2050fc, 2052fc, 2050i, 2052i, 2050f and the full line of HP MSA 500 and 1000 arrays running supported firmware versions.
With the HP MSA 512-Snapshot license, you can create up to 512 point-in-time snapshots per volume group, supporting flexible backup and data protection strategies.
Log in to the HP Storage Management Utility (SMU), navigate to the Licenses section, upload the E-LTU license file, and click Activate to enable snapshot functionality immediately.
