The VC62VOBB is an activation key that unlocks 3G-SDI and CVBS I/O on the Huawei TE50-MC media converter, transforming it into a multi-format broadcast encoder.
VC62VOBB enables one 3G-SDI input/output and one composite video (CVBS) input/output port on the TE50-MC, supporting HD and standard-definition feeds.
Log in to the TE50-MC web GUI, navigate to License Management, upload the VC62VOBB license file, and click Activate. The device will reboot to apply the upgrade.
Yes. VC62VOBB is a perpetual license that remains active on the TE50-MC until manually removed or replaced.
No hardware changes are required. The TE50-MC’s existing factory-installed ports support 3G-SDI and CVBS once VC62VOBB is activated.
Your TE50-MC must be running firmware version 3.2.0 or later. Please update via the Huawei support portal before activating the license.
In the TE50-MC web GUI, go to System Status → Licenses. The status column will show “Active” next to VC62VOBB if the upgrade is successful.
