The VP9660 switch complete machine (SKU: VC6S08SWPT05) integrates a rugged chassis, redundant DC power supply, high-efficiency fans, and a media board supporting fiber and copper optics. It delivers up to 96 10GbE ports with full L2/L3 functionality, advanced QoS, and comprehensive security features, making it ideal for enterprise data centers and carrier networks.
The VP9660 uses a 1U rack-mountable chassis with a depth of 450 mm, width of 438 mm, and height of 44 mm. Its compact design fits standard 19-inch racks and optimizes airflow, while providing space for power, fan modules, and the media board.
The VP9660 includes dual hot-swappable 48 VDC power supplies, each rated at 600 W. The redundant configuration ensures continuous operation during a single supply failure, with automatic failover and LED indicators for real-time status monitoring.
The VP9660 has four hot-swappable, variable‐speed fans that automatically adjust airflow based on thermal load. The acoustic noise level is typically 52 dB(A) under full load, meeting data center standards for efficient cooling and minimal sound disruption.
