272 Gbps switching capacity provides the aggregate switching ceiling for traffic sizing, while 202.38 Mpps forwarding capacity supplies the packet-rate reference. 820W of available PoE power is shared among connected powered devices rather than reserved equally for every port. Static routing supports limited routed connectivity; full OSPF and BGP are not included in the as-shipped feature set. WS-C3650-8X24UQ-L carries 4 GB of DRAM and 4 GB of flash for system operation and local software storage. The UADP ASIC handles forwarding, and a 32000-entry MAC table supports learned Ethernet destinations. When a purchase adds endpoints requiring 60W across every access connection, full-port UPOE requires two supplies rather than the default single-supply configuration. Specify PWR-C1-715WAC= or PWR-C1-1100WAC= for the second bay while retaining the included PWR-C1-1100WAC, and confirm the complete supply combination on the PO.
When several branches will receive the same access-switch configuration, the LAN Base limit of 255 VLANs belongs in the acceptance criteria. Compare each site's required segmentation against that licensed ceiling rather than assuming another feature set's scale. Record the required production license and VLAN plan before issuing the PO.
