WS-C3650-48TQ-L identifies a Catalyst 3650 switch with 48 non-PoE 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, four 10G uplinks and LAN Base. WS-C3650 denotes the switch family; 48 is the access-port count, T marks data ports, Q identifies four 10G uplinks, and L selects LAN Base. The configuration includes a PWR-C2-250WAC power supply.
Catalyst 3650 is managed through Cisco IOS XE CLI using console, SSH or Telnet, with Cisco Prime Infrastructure and SNMP available for centralized administration. SSH and encrypted SNMPv3 require the cryptographic software image. The management connection is separate from endpoint and uplink connections, so administration does not add another access port.
WS-C3650-48TQ-L is discontinued: end of sale was October 31, 2021, and its last date of support is October 31, 2026. C9300L-48T-4X-E is the replacement with Network Essentials. Active Cisco service entitlement does not extend support past that final date, so remaining service planning must use the final cutoff.

WS-C3650-48TQ-L cannot run OSPF or BGP under its included LAN Base tier; limited static routing gives the shipped configuration Layer 2+ capabilities. Full EIGRP, OSPF and BGP belong to IP Services. WS-C3650-48TQ-L ships with one PWR-C2-250WAC power supply, so internal power redundancy requires a second supply rather than being included as standard. The second bay can accept an additional PWR-C2-250WAC= spare. The shipped AC supply accepts 100-240V AC; specify CAB-TA-NA= when the order needs a North American power cord.
WS-C3650-48TQ-L is a full-width Rack-Mount 1U switch, measuring 44 mm high, 445 mm wide and 448 mm deep. The shipped chassis weight is 7.21 kg. Rack planning must allow for that chassis depth together with front and rear cabling; the standard frame is not a narrow desktop switch body.
